Clinicals:

Dr. Naana Boakye performed a clinical study with 17 participants between the ages of 21 to 57, Fitzpatrick III-VI. The skin was assessed at baseline as well as after 4, 8 and 12 weeks.

Participants followed a regimen of Dr. Naana Boakye's Fresh Face Cleanser, Cocoa Barrier Cream and a broad-spectrum SPF 60+ sunscreen in the morning, and Fresh Face Cleanser and Cocoa Barrier Cream in the evening.

Participants used Cocoa Brightening Gel Mask 3 times a week for 2 to 3 minutes followed by Fresh Face Cleanser and Cocoa Barrier Cream.

The results include:

30% improvement in TEWL (transepidermal water loss) after 4 weeks of use, which demonstrates the products’ efficacy for moisturization and skin-barrier support

11% improvement in skin hydration after 4 weeks of usage, proving the products provide long-term hydration
