The Women-Owned Businesses Behind Dr. Naana Boakye Skincare

When I set out to create Dr. Naana Beauty, I knew I wanted to partner with women-owned businesses that not only understood my vision but could bring it to life with their expertise and creativity. This journey has been about more than just skincare—it’s been about collaboration, passion, and the power of women supporting women.

Dorothy Ogé: Award-Winning Creative Visionary

Great branding tells a story, and Dorothy Ogé brought mine to life. As an award-winning creative director and accomplished design leader with over 15 years of experience, she has driven innovation, excellence, and impact for world-class beauty brands. Her ability to translate my vision into stunning, meaningful packaging elevated Dr. Naana Beauty into something truly special.

Heather Miele and White Honey: The Art of Visual Storytelling
Founded in 2008, White Honey is a creative agency that understands how to translate beauty into imagery. Heather Miele and her team captured the essence of Dr. Naana Beauty through stunning photography that showcases not just the products but the experience of using them. Her eye for detail and emotion has given the brand a visual identity that resonates.

Julie Panzner & PhytogenX: Female-Led Contract Manufacturin
Bringing skincare formulas to life requires expertise and a commitment to quality, which is why I partnered with Julie Panzner, the owner of PhytogenX, a female-led contract manufacturer. Julie and her team played a crucial role in ensuring that Dr. Naana Beauty’s formulations met the highest standards of efficacy and clean beauty. Their dedication to science-backed skincare aligned perfectly with our mission to prioritize skin health in a holistic way.

AJ Addae from Sula Labs: Ghanaian Cosmetic Chemist Who Understands the Roots

Formulation is at the heart of every skincare brand, and I was intentional about working with AJ, a cosmetic chemist from Ghana. Since I source shea butter and cocoa from Ghana, it was important to collaborate with someone who not only had deep expertise but also understood the cultural and scientific significance of these powerful ingredients. AJ helped craft the amazing formulations that make Dr. Naana Beauty both effective and nourishing.

The Power of Supporting Women
Bringing Dr. Naana Beauty to life has been a testament to the brilliance and dedication of women entrepreneurs. Each of these women-owned businesses brought their expertise, passion, and creativity to the table, proving that when women support each other, we create something truly extraordinary.
To all the incredible women behind the scenes—thank you for being a part of this journey. Dr. Naana Beauty wouldn’t be what it is today without you.

Your skin health always comes first,
Dr. Naana Boakye
